Batch #86 is here! This one looks pretty good. Since tomorrow’s Saturday and the Post Office closes at noon I might have to cut off orders to go out tomorrow sometime tonight.
The big news is the surprise kratom ban in Connecticut. The Bill passed the House but can still be vetoed by the governor. If not, kratom will most likely be banned here in Connecticut this October. Which is very bad news for Treasure House, and we will have to close. I was going to write up quite a bit more on it and include it in the restock post, but I want to get the batch listed tonight. When I can I’m going to write up something up proper with what you can do, and who you can contact, and more information. When I do, I’ll leave a link on the main page and send out an email too. For now, you can google it if you want to know more. It’s an existential threat to Treasure House Botanicals.
Since I don’t want to leave on such a sour note, about the last batch. The odd smell was because it stored in a warehouse that produced other spices in Thailand, and it was rainy season kratom. It wasn’t mixed with anything, dangerous at all, and the potency was pretty good. It took me quite a bit of discussion with our supplier to find out exactly what was up with it. If I had realized I would have at least mentioned it in the restock post. This batch has been thoroughly reviewed, and it’s perfectly normal kratom!
