Big news on Connecticut ban front, both good and bad. Connecticut is going forward and attempting a schedule 1 scheduling, the strictest possible. Which would make it completely illegal. The good news is there is a public commentary period open to October 20th. Even better is the AKA managed to get the signatures needed for a public hearing on October 15th. There’s a form to fill out a public comment, links to sign up to speak at the hearing, as well as link to submit written testimony for the hearing. I believe it’s allowed to submit a comment even if you don’t live in the state, and at the worst it won’t hurt anything to try. If you are from Connecticut definitely submit a comment! Not just you, get everyone you know, friends, family, and literally anyone else you can get to sign! In 2016 when they tried to ban it federally, we fought back and won. I’ve been around on this earth for quite a while now. I’ve seen a lot of legal supplements and plants appear on the market, get popular, and get banned. Anyone remember ephedra? Usually, once the ban is announced they’re gone, and no one even makes a peep. Kratom is the first time I’ve ever seen people willing to fight to keep something legal, and even more surprisingly win! We did it once and it can be done again. Especially now that kratom has come under attack everywhere, both at the state level all over the country and the federal level. For those who haven’t heard yes, they’re preparing to make it illegal federally too! We need to keep up the fight across the board! Every state counts. Please, get everyone you can to sign!
The public commentary is also great news for us because batch #89 is now in stock! We would have been in trouble if they banned it October 1st! Well, I wouldn’t have to worry about running out for the next 5-10 years! I’m trying for at least getting another batch coming before the 20th. Even if they decide to schedule it, I don’t think it will be overnight. There’s a lot of smoke shops and gas stations that carry kratom. It would be unfair if they banned it overnight and made all these businesses into criminals. How long it might take if they do it, I don’t know. It could be weeks, months, or years. I still plan on running right up until I can’t.
Batch #89 seems like a good one, There’s maeng da, elephant, bali, Vietnam, and super green. The last batch the maeng da had a coarser grind then usual. These are much smoother. That’s it. It’s up, listed for sale, and please comment!
