Batch #52 is here!

The first of not one, but three shipments we have coming are now in stock. This is the smallest of the three. The one that should get here next is medium sized, and the last one is much larger. The strains that are included in this one are the maeng da’s, modern’s, red borneo, premium jongkong, green and yellow ranah, and super green. Everything seems good. It seems like a very solid batch. The red borneo is an outdoor dried strain. It’s coarser than what we normally get because he grinds our regular strains finer then he does his other ones. It’s very strong, and seeing that sales on reds exploded with the last shipment, it might be what your’re looking for.

Shipping at this point from Indonesia has gotten close to impossible. It’s gotten drastically worse over the Summer due entirely to the efforts of the FDA. You’d think they might have more pressing concerns this year than worrying about kratom. With that said, there’s no way to be sure when the next two shipments will be here. We’ll be getting another one coming as soon as possible.

Domestic shipping is another issue. All three major shipping companies; USPS, UPS, and Fedex, have already been operating near capacity since March. The Holiday season is coming. Most predictions are saying online sales volumes are going to be up by 5-7 times what they normally are. Expect massive delays in December. Just over the last couple of weeks we’ve been seeing an increase in shipping delays already. It’s not going to get better until after Christmas. None of the major shipping companies have been able to guarantee delivery times since March. So, we still can’t either.

USPS dropped a surprise Holiday surcharge on us last week. It’s an extra $.40 on top of all of their prices. So, we raised our shipping cost by the same. They’re ending the surcharge on December 27th. So, prices will go back down then. To help deal with the situation this season we’re going be adding more options for shipping services at checkout.

Tomorrows Saturday, so we might have to cut off orders early if we have too many, in order to make it to the Post Office before it closes. Thank you and have a good weekend everyone!
